Program Description For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).
Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.
Master of Science - Project Management, Finance and Risk
This postgraduate Project Management, Finance and Risk masters programme is for those pursuing or planning a career in managing the introduction of capital goods or applying the latest project management techniques to complex projects. It is particularly suited to students with a scientific or financial engineering background as we cover quantitative risk assessment in depth, which requires an aptitude for measuring and analysing data.
MSc Project Management, Finance and Risk masters gives students a foundation in quantitative risk assessment and decision-making under uncertain conditions, coupled with classical engineering economics and financial engineering.
