What you will study
This program is designed to prepare the student with the skills and knowledge that they will require to become a pharmacy assistant. Students will become familiar with pharmacology, pharmacy math, and pharmacy billing software. They will be introduced to the basic mathematics principles, and will be able to understand computer applications and keyboarding. Graduates of the program can work as Pharmacy Assistants in: • Community pharmacies • Hospitals • Pharmacy distribution companies • Independent pharmacies
