Master of Science - Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-registration)

The MSc Speech and Language Therapy (Pre-registration) course will prepare students for a successful career in the continually evolving health and social care sector.

From day one students will learn to link theoretical knowledge with professional practice, so by the time they graduate they'll be equipped with the skills they need to pursue a successful career in speech and language therapy, where their work will transform lives.

Working in purpose-built rehabilitation and assessment facilities on campus, students will benefit from small class sizes. Tutors will be on hand to offer students all the support they need throughout the course.

As students progress, they'll undertake a number of work placements, giving them valuable experience and employable skills. By their second year, they'll have a clearer idea of potential career paths. Students will then complete a full-time work placement, which will be aimed to align with their area of interest within the health and social care sector.

This course has strong links with speech and language therapists working throughout the NHS, in private practice across the North West, charitable organisations, and international institutions. So students will get opportunities to gain experience of the full breadth of modern practice.
