Associate of Science - Business Administration (Optional transfer)

The Business Department offers a Certificate, transfer program, and an Associate of Science (AS) degree. The Business Administration AS degree provides the foundation for students planning to transfer to a four-year college or university and includes core requirements in accounting, economics, and information systems. This degree provides them with an understanding of basic business practices, including operations, methods, and purpose, and an introduction to the major functional areas within business.

Optional Transfer

San Mateo - Cañada College is partnered with various universities and colleges to give interested applicants the opportunity to transfer to a four-year college or university after completing their associates degree or to transfer during their associates degree. Interested applicants should indicate their interest on the application form along with their intended partner university. San Mateo will provide students with the transfer requirements needed to guarantee a transfer. They still need to apply to the university during the regular period, which is usually one year in advance of the start date.
