What you will study
The PGCE Secondary with QTS guides you from student to Early Career Teacher (ECT). Since it includes QTS, they will apply for the first teaching job while studying. Based on the PGCE Secondary program, the Computer Science and ICT pathway helps them to develop skills to teach secondary students, delivering engaging lessons. This specialism lets them inspire future computer scientists and tech innovators. They will learn through theory and practice within the National Curriculum Framework. It cover key PGCE concepts and confidently teach students aged 11-16. More than half the course involves classroom placements and enrichment activities alongside university study. They will complete two placements in varied schools, gaining valuable experience for the career.
