Program Description If a student has finished high school but does not meet the entry requirements for university, a Foundation Certificate can help them to gain entry to an undergraduate degree. Admission to the University of Nottingham can be gained through a pathway course at the University of Nottingham International College. Students will be part of a large international student population at the University of Nottingham. It is a member of the elite Russell Group, and is consistently ranked among the world’s best schools. Maths plays a bigger role in society than simply banking and finance. It is widely used to help understand the origins of the universe. It is even being used to help find a cure for cancer.

Students will learn about different aspects of mathematics from pure and applied mathematicians, theoretical physicists and statisticians. These specialisms mean the course offers an extensive choice of modules. Student options range from cryptography to quantum theory, or finance to fluid dynamics.
