The Business Management diploma is a two-year program that appeals to students who are just getting started in their career and want a practical business education as well as for those who have work experience but need a diploma to move into higher level positions. Students who want to graduate with a diploma complete the entire 60-credit program of study. Students admitted to Business Management may complete the diploma, or choose one of the following majors.
Aviation Management • Business aviation is critical to a variety of companies that require speed, efficiency, flexibility and productivity. Students combine their love of flying with a business education. • The university's unique partnership with Transport Canada-approved training centers allows you to complete your Business Management diploma with a specialization in aviation management.
Insurance and Risk Management • Whether students aspire to run their own brokerage or work in a large corporate environment, to succeed in the insurance industry students need to know how to manage the business skillfully and strategically. • The Insurance and Risk Management program integrates business studies with insurance-industry-specific courses. Students study management, finance, communications and accounting courses, along with specialized courses in insurance principles, underwriting and claims.
