Master of Professional Education - Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages

In an increasingly globalized world, the need for proficiency in English and English language teachers worldwide is on the rise. In response to the global demand for qualified ESL/EFL (English as a Second Language/English as a Foreign Language) teachers, the Faculty of Education at Western University is offering a Master of Professional Education (MPEd) in the field of TESOL. The Master of Professional Education in the field of TESOL is a dynamic program designed to help language teachers develop the required competencies to become effective English as a second or foreign language (ESL/EFL) teachers. This program is designed specifically for international candidates who wish to enhance their ESL/EFL teaching skills, increase their level of language proficiency and obtain a master's degree in TESOL.

For conditional admission, applicants must have a minimum IELTS score of 5.5 overall and 6.0 in writing.
