Overview
This programme combines the study of law and criminology and includes a foundation year designed to prepare students for undergraduate-level study. Students can develop an understanding of legal principles, criminal behaviour, justice systems, crime, and the social factors associated with offending. The foundation year helps build academic, communication, research, and study skills before students progress into specialist subjects. The degree encourages students to examine both legal and criminological perspectives on crime and justice. It is suitable for students interested in law, criminology, policing, criminal justice, or related careers. Graduates may progress into legal services, criminal justice, policing, public administration, policy, research, compliance, or further professional legal study.
