Program Description Build a future by studying in the UK, with a pathway course at Kaplan International College (KIC) London. Situated in the world’s top academic city (QS Best Student Cities 2019), the College will prepare students for a university degree, and for a successful career. Study at one of the most respected international colleges in London, and progress to one of 8 universities, including the University of Westminster. The commercially well-connected University of Westminster is hugely international. Students can study alongside students from nearly 170 countries. This course provides students with the foundation subjects required to obtain a Qualifying Law Degree along with the opportunity to spend a year of study in one of the partner universities in Europe, gaining knowledge of other legal systems, experiencing another legal culture, enhancing European language skills and developing international links. A law degree is seen as a valuable asset by a variety of employers, as is knowledge of another European legal system and another European legal language. When students apply, students need to demonstrate an aptitude for European language study, but this does not necessarily mean that students will need to have a formal qualification. While abroad, depending on language skills, students may study in English or in another European language. Students will spend the third year of their degree studying at a partner university in the EU, which offer a wide range of law courses, including some taught in English. The school has partner institutions in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Sweden. On successful completion of the year abroad, students will return to Westminster in Year 4 to complete their studies.
