Computer and IT support specialists repair, troubleshoot, build and upgrade the computers, networks and other high-tech devices that are used every day. They’re the people that are turned to when there are technical problems that can't be solved easily. They can help replace a part or install new hardware or software. They can set up new equipment and connect to a network. They can answer questions or help guide people in resolving a problem on their own.

But, other people can benefit from Computer Information Systems courses, as well. Virtually every occupation in the current economy interacts with computers in one way or another.
