Foundation Program (091322F) + Diploma of Health Sciences (075188G) + Bachelor of Health Science (017585G)

The Foundation Program is designed for international students who have not yet completed their high school education to the Australian Year 12 standard, or equivalent. It provides a bridge between secondary school and undergraduate studies to prepare them for entry to and success in university level studies across a broad range of study areas.

The Diploma in Health Sciences provides a good grounding in the many disciplines that exist within the field of health science. While the main focus is on biological and biochemical subjects, candidates will studies will extend into chemistry, cell biology and anatomy. They will develop strong foundations for entry into the second year of a number of Griffith University degree level programs in health sciences.

Health Science encompasses studies in areas such as genetics, anatomy and physiology, chemistry and biochemistry, nutrition, molecular and cellular biology, communicable diseases, environmental health, and toxicology. Students firm grounding in health science will develop through understanding these topics with the opportunity to develop specialist areas of knowledge through the diverse range of electives.

The Bachelor of Health Science offers four majors in: Environmental Health, Environmental Toxicology, Information Technology and Communication and Media.
