Master of Arts (Honours) - French and Spanish (RR14)

This joint honors program offers students the opportunity to study two major world languages in their diverse cultural contexts. The program allows individuals to delve into the intricacies of both languages, which are among the ten most widely spoken in the world, and have had a significant cultural impact beyond Europe.

Through an intensive language curriculum, which includes a year abroad, students will have the chance to develop advanced spoken and written skills in both French and Spanish. The program also encompasses an exploration of various facets of Francophone and Spanish-language cultures, spanning from the Middle Ages to the 21st Century. Students will engage with literature, film, theatre, political history, social movements, and philosophical ideas, further enriching their understanding of these vibrant cultures.
