The Kinesiology diploma program at Capilano University (Squamish Campus) gives student training in a field that will enable student to create practical, workable solutions that help people live their healthiest lives.

This two-year, 60-credit diploma offers training in how physical, social and psychological factors influence the health of people and their communities.

In your first year, student will develop their foundational knowledge of the principles of kinesiology with courses in active health planning, biomechanics, leadership, sport sociology and human physiology.

Student will tackle more complex topics in year two, with training in exercise psychology, human motor skills and behaviour, mental theories in sport and exercise and health policy.

After completing their diploma, they can continue your studies by applying to the Bachelor of Kinesiology program offered at our main North Vancouver campus.
