Assiniboine Community College’s Early Childhood Education program prepares students for a rewarding career supporting the growth and development of young children. Recognizing that early learning experiences have a lasting impact, this two-year diploma equips students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide high-quality early learning and child care. Accredited by the Child Care Qualifications and Training Committee (CCQTC), the program combines theory with hands-on experience to ensure graduates meet provincial standards. Students benefit from enhanced learning opportunities, including collaboration with community partners, industry field trips, guest speakers, and four practicum placements in real-world settings.
