Program Description New digital technologies are transforming the workplace as companies improve their operational efficiencies and grow using new hybrid business models.This Master's degree gives students the knowledge and skills to develop and work with the next generation of smart technologies.This course is designed for science and technology graduates as well as experienced engineers who wish to update their skills in the emerging areas of smart factories and smart cities, utilising Industry 4.0 technologies.

Designed to meet the evolving demands of the industry, the course is backed by Festo, National Instruments and Siemens and is supported by the Sector Skills Council SEMTA. As a result, students will learn using the latest technologies from these organisations and work on real industry challenges.

It recognises that graduates will have different levels of skills and a variety of interests related to this subject, so has been specifically designed to take a portfolio approach. This allows students to work on a wide range of projects to build their knowledge and experience specific to their own ambitions.
