Plumbing and heating is a job constantly in high demand, and certified plumbers can anticipate excellent compensation for their services. The Plumbing and Heating program at Aviron Quebec trains students in the installation, modification and maintenance of water supply and drainage systems, and other components of hydronic, steam, forced air, oil, radiant, natural gas and propane heating systems. While also giving students the opportunity to test their skills in a hands-on environment. Aviron Quebec provides students with the knowledge, skills and tools needed to succeed in the field. Training includes subjects such as: • Proper handling of equipment, materials and products • Install drainage and ventilation systems • Do welding and brazing work • Install, maintain and repair oil-burning appliances, direct and reverse heating systems, perimeter heating and radiant heating systems • Assemble mechanical piping systems • Work on electrical and electronic control systems • Hot and cold-water distribution systems and plumbing fixtures
