The Supply Chain Management – Logistics Automation graduate certificate prepares students to address the evolving demands of global supply chains by combining supply chain management principles with emerging technologies. Students develop knowledge of logistics, procurement, operations, data analytics, automation, artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and sustainability while learning how these innovations improve supply chain efficiency and resilience. The program emphasizes practical, industry-focused learning through interactive simulations, virtual reality (VR), case studies, and a mandatory work-integrated learning experience in the final semester, which may include a co-op work term or workplace simulation. Students gain hands-on experience using industry-standard tools such as SAP Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), SQL, Tableau, Power BI, and Transportation Management Systems (TMS), enabling them to analyse data, automate processes, and support supply chain decision-making. Graduates are prepared for careers in logistics, procurement, inventory management, transportation planning, warehouse operations, and supply chain analysis across a wide range of industries. The program also provides eligible graduates with advanced standing toward the Certified Supply Chain Leader (CSCL) designation through Sheridan's partnership with the National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders, supporting continued professional development and career advancement.
