Master of Science - Construction Project Management With Industrial Placement
University of Greenwich
What you will study
The MSc in Construction Project Management equips students with skills to align design and production with market demands in construction and property sectors. Participants will learn to plan resource allocation and respond to economic fluctuations. The curriculum covers development economics, applied project management, risk management, and integrated building systems, enhancing strategic management and solution presentation for complex challenges. Students will engage in lectures, seminars, and workshops, including critiques with peers and tutors, and benefit from guest lecturers each term. Theoretical courses will integrate with other master's programs for multidisciplinary perspectives. Collaborative modules with built environment courses will enhance teamwork skills. Students must also allocate time for self-study, supported by resources at Greenwich's Stockwell Street library and online platforms. They will have opportunities to attend guest lectures, employability workshops, and participate in student societies. Graduates will be prepared for diverse careers in project management across sectors, including property development and government agencies. The Industrial Placement component supports career development, allowing collaboration with professional advisors, peer mentors, and industry employers through training and networking events, including a one-year internship opportunity.
