Double Degree - Bachelor of Science - Computer Science & Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance (Optional Co-op)

With a combined Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Management (B.Sc./B.Mgt.) degree, students can explore a multitude of interests and careers. For example, students who are interested in sports marketing they can major in kinesiology and marketing. The Combined B.Sc./B.Mgt. degree program takes five years (50 courses) to complete and leads to the conferral of two degrees.

Bachelor of Management - Finance

Finance is the study of financial decision making in investment, portfolio management and corporate finance as well as managing risk, financial innovations in a dynamic business environment.

Finance students study areas such as corporate and personal finance, investments, global finance, financial technology (FinTech), Financial Institutions and Markets, and Derivatives. They will develop skills using excel, statistical, trading and portfolio management software and draw from fields such as economics, accounting, and social responsibility as they prepare for career opportunities in the areas of banking, investments, international finance, trading, risk management and more. Students will have the opportunity for hands-on financial trading through the Student Managed Investment Fund.

Bachelor of Science - Computer Science

Computer science is the study of algorithms and data structures and their applications in designing new and efficient solutions to industrial, technological, environmental or social problems.

Students will learn to tackle difficult problems using a variety of high-tech tools and approaches, and effectively communicate their expertise to others by coupling their technical learning with a solid grounding in liberal education.

The program is designed to enable students to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience, including access to state-of-the-art hardware and software in the three computer labs whenever they need to use them.
