Overview
The Associate in Arts in Social Justice Studies for Transfer is intended for students who plan to complete a bachelor’s degree in a similar major at a CSU campus. Social Justice Studies explores the important terrain between ideals of justice and everyday local, national, and global realities of injustice. Students in Social Justice Studies analyze social, cultural, and historical developments to understand systems of power, privilege, oppression, and resistance, focusing on four important categories of identity: race, gender, class, and sexuality.
