Overview
This programme combines the study of Chinese language, culture, history, philosophy, and civilisation with a humanistic approach to education. Students can develop an understanding of Chinese intellectual traditions and cultural development while exploring how knowledge can be communicated within educational and wider social contexts. The course encourages critical thinking, intercultural awareness, research, and communication skills. Students may study Chinese traditions, literature, philosophy, society, and historical developments while considering their relevance to contemporary education. It is suitable for students interested in Chinese studies, education, cultural studies, and international environments. Graduates may progress into education, cultural organisations, research, international services, language-related roles, and further postgraduate study.
