Overview
Merritt College offers an Associate of Science in Mathematics.
Upon successful completion of this program, students will be able to: • Express mathematical concepts and techniques clearly and concisely using symbolic and ordinary language. • Use quantitative reasoning to solve a variety of mathematical problems in the workplace and in the home. • Demonstrate mastery of the various mathematical concepts and techniques needed to succeed in subsequent courses of increasing complexity.
Career Opportunities: Career opportunities may include accounts payable or receivables clerk, assistant to a CPA insurance sales agent, and claims adjuster operations assistant.
