What you will study
Grounded in the learning of the University of Cumbria's PGCE Secondary program, this Physics pathway allows students to develop the skills to teach in the secondary school setting, creating and leading engaging science lessons. This unique specialism gives them the opportunity to inspire the next generation of astronomers, engineers and meteorologists.
Students will learn through a blend of theory and hands-on experience, working within the National Curriculum Framework. They will explore the key concepts and themes of the PGCE curriculum, confidently devising and delivering engaging lessons to children and young people, aged 11-16 years old.
