Associate of Science - Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management

The Business Department prepares students for both entry-level positions and management positions in retail. They are prepared to plan, organize, direct, and manage employees in a variety of settings. Individuals with Management knowledge find work in a variety of industries with a variety of duties. They may manage direct reports or projects, specialize in certain areas, such as inventory management or reorganizing corporate structures to eliminate inefficiencies. Some specialize in a specific industry, such as healthcare or telecommunications. In government it’s usually specialized by a type of agency.

The Associate of Science (AS) degree is for those students who wish to become a new business owner and/or update their skills as a current business owner. The AS degree is designed to assist students in the development of a small business.
