What you will study

TAFE NSW's Diploma of Information Technology is a higher education qualification that will prepare students for employment in entry level roles in the IT industry. They will gain introductory knowledge in computing, programming, databases, internetworking as well as the critical thinking and communication skills that they will need as an IT professional.

In addition students will select one elective from either introductory cryptography or introductory data analysis.

Upon completion of this Diploma, graduates will be eligible to receive 1 year advanced standing in the Bachelor of Information Technology (Network Security) or Bachelor of Information Technology (Data Engineering). They must participate in additional support classes to improve their language skills. The support is integrated into the program within class and provided after class.
