What you will study

The Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with Integrated Foundation Year course develops students' understanding of mechanical engineering science as well as their practical skills and knowledge following an initial foundation year that prepares them for higher education study within an engineering context.

Graduates will complete an extra year of study before starting their Bachelor of Engineering to build their subject knowledge and develop academic writing, reading and research skills.

Throughout this first year, students will develop their research, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills and cover a range of topics including physics, mathematics, electronics and computing, and the practical application of these to engineering disciplines.
