What you will study
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology students will be immersed in fine art studios, where they gain the confidence and the tools to understand and interpret the world around them through art.
Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology’s teaching style is centered around the student as an individual. Students receive personal mentoring that challenges and pushes them to discover and form their own art practice or specialisation. Teaching staff are active industry experts who are highly involved within the field of contemporary art. Studios are taught by high-profile practising artists who exhibit locally and internationally, so students can connect with what’s happening in the art world.
Studios are complemented by studies in art history, theories and cultures, and in the professional skills needed to succeed in the arts and creative industries.
Please note that applicants from some countries will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee. The fee will go towards the tuition deposit for any students who enrol.
