Master of Design - Textile Design

The MA/MDes Design is aimed at experimental and inquisitive designers seeking to broaden their creative practice and collaborate across all design disciplines. This interdisciplinary approach reflects the future direction of design, where bold ideas that extend beyond conventional boundaries are essential to addressing major societal challenges.

The programme includes a range of live design projects involving collaboration with industry partners and community stakeholders. These projects are designed to develop and test individual practice while supporting the growth of professional networks. Students are encouraged to shape their own professional futures through a personalised curriculum, with access to optional modules, professional development seminars and the freedom to develop self-directed design projects.

Innovative use of technology supports both an online studio environment and a physical on-campus studio, enabling ongoing collaboration and interaction regardless of location.
