Students will make a career out of their love for both people and animals with the Veterinary Medical Receptionists (VMR) Certificate program.

In the College Certificate - Veterinary Medical Receptionist (VMR) program, students will provide client care as the “face of the practice” with this fast-paced program. Learning a variety of office administration, customer service, and veterinary medicine skills from trained Registered Veterinary Technician instructors, they will gain all the skills needed to be an asset to any veterinary team. Students will also learn alongside Animal Health Technology and Veterinary Technical Assistant students in the animal hospital, providing a real industry environment scenario.

As part of the Veterinary Medical Receptionist program, students will complete a three-week industry practicum, working directly with industry professionals. During their studies, they are also responsible for creating promotional items, organizing and booking adoption appointments, and responding to phone inquiries for the “Adopt a Pet” program.
