What you will study
The two term IIM pathway allows you to build on your earlier studies in higher education in your own country or elsewhere and so prepare yourself for study on an appropriate taught masters at the Edinburgh Napier University. You will also enhance your English language capabilities, develop graduate study skills appropriate to the UK Higher Education environment and acclimate to living and studying in another country and a cultural context very different from your own.
The pathway offers a blend of content modules with a clear focus on subject areas related to your destination masters with language and academic study skills tuition. The content modules are normally set at a maximum of Level 10 and students working towards completion of the pathway are able to acquire 60 credits in each of your two terms of study. If you successfully complete the pathway, you will have met the requirements set by the University and are able to move onto your chosen master’s programme with increased confidence in both your language and study skills and subject knowledge.
