The Business – Human Resources program provides students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to support human resources functions within organizations. The program focuses on key areas of HR management, including recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation, labour relations, and workplace health and safety.
Students learn about employment law, organizational behaviour, and effective communication while developing skills in employee relations, performance management, and HR administration. The curriculum emphasizes ethical practices, diversity and inclusion, and the role of HR in supporting organizational success.
An optional co-op component allows students to gain valuable work experience in a professional setting, applying classroom knowledge to real-world HR tasks and building industry connections.
Graduates are prepared for entry-level roles such as human resources assistant, recruitment coordinator, payroll clerk, or HR administrator across a wide range of industries, supporting workforce management and organizational development.
