Students can prepare for frontline practice as a health professional in social and health agencies in this highly collaborative and experiential program. Specific topics include interviewing and counselling, crisis intervention, and recovery strategies. Main themes include trauma-informed practice and concurrent disorders. In-class training is followed by a 420-hour community placement.
