Through this program students will further their knowledge in Earth Sciences through a comprehensive MSc program that includes theoretical study, research, as well as lab and field experience. Students will develop their geoscience skills and toolkit and contribute to ground-breaking research, from the formulation of a thesis problem to its solution. Students will choose a specialization based on their interests and areas of expertise. Renowned faculty are leaders in their sub-disciplines, recognized through international and national awards. Research areas include, but are not limited to: • Ore deposit geology • Volcanology • Structural geology • Sedimentology • Paleontology • Mineralogy • Igneous and metamorphic petrology • Geophysics • 3D computer modeling
