Program Description

Environmental issues are one of the most pressing global challenges of today. Addressing these challenges requires expertise in both environmental science and arts. Trent University’s Environmental & Resource Studies/Science programs gives students the choice to specialize their skill set to help make their mark on this world in a thoughtful and sustainable way. Students choose to complete a B.A. degree and explore topics in environmental law, global environmental policy and management to inform sustainable solutions. With the B.Sc. option, students will obtain an advanced scientific understanding of the environment, diving into everything from environmental chemistry to restoration ecology.
