Double Degree - Bachelor of Fine Arts - New Media & Bachelor of Business Administration - General Management (Optional Co-op)

Demand is increasing for new media artists with expertise in business and management. This five-year combined degrees program bridges the gap between fine arts and management.

Bachelor of Management - General Management Management is leading others to accomplish common goals in business. Today’s managers are people oriented, creative, adaptable and strong communicators. They have to know how to deal effectively with rapidly changing environments, work successfully with small and large teams, live and work by principles of ethics and social responsibility and be aware of responsibilities to sustainability. General management students study topics such as marketing, organizational behaviour, introductory accounting, managing responsibly in a global environment, human resources management, policy and strategy and probability and statistics. They will draw from fields such as history, English, political science, economics and sociology.

Bachelor of Fine Arts - New Media Through new media production and studies, students will explore the interconnectivity between technology, art, culture and industry. Students will gain the skills necessary to evolve with emerging technologies in a variety of professional settings.

Students will explore, study, and create using a wide range of technologies and techniques with studies in graphic, web and interaction design; 3D modelling; animation; video game design and development; screenwriting; cinema production and studies; and new media theory.
