What you will study
Students in a Bachelor of Engineering (Software Engineering) program will graduate with an Engineering Technology Diploma at the end of Second Year and will also graduate with an Engineering Degree (BEng) at the end of Fourth Year.
The unique structure of Lakehead’s programs enables students to earn a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Software Engineering in four years while also completing the requirements of a Software Engineering Technology Diploma by the end of the second year of their BEng degree program.
Studying engineering at Lakehead gives students an unconventional opportunity to gain the skills required by employers. The unique combination of BEng degree with a Diploma in Engineering Technology from Lakehead University produces graduates with hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge critical to success.
