What you will study
Following the foundation year, the syllabus of this course is identical to Psychology, C800. The BSc Psychology degree is accredited by the British Psychological Society and is designed to develop and shape student's understanding of the mind and human behaviour. The ethos is to teach in a way which enables them to develop conceptual and theoretical knowledge to solve problems in real-world scenarios.
The Psychology degree will give students a broad foundation in psychology that enables them to tailor their interests and provide them with a solid platform for a varied number of career opportunities.
The course is built around essential core topics in psychology, which serve as the basis for the varied and specialised optional modules we offer in the second and third year.
Our laboratories and research spaces provide students with an array of facilities and equipment to explore. These resources allow them to develop their interests, and engage in creative problem-solving techniques as their progress through thier degree.
