What you will study

The Bachelor of Science in Games Art (Placement Year) lets students design stunning characters and immersive worlds for computer games that they and others would love to play. They will learn to turn their imagination and creativity into visually appealing interactive experiences for commercial use.

Graduates will have access to the University of Gloucestershire's purpose built labs, equipped with high-end hardware and industry software – 3ds Max, ZBrush, Substance Tools, Adobe CC, Unity, Unreal and much more – they will be able to bring to life incredible worlds, dynamic characters and engaging game prototypes from their imagination. They will get first class support from the University's industry-experienced lecturers who have worked on games for Sony, Adidas, Intel, Crytek, 2K Sports, Rebellion, Eutechnyx and Headstrong Games.
