Northeastern University - Toronto
Northeastern University in Toronto’s Master of Science in Project Management program is designed to equip students with the practical skills and theoretical concepts required to lead complex projects. Companies often succeed or fail based on their ability to deliver quality products and services to the market on time. Skilled project managers oversee every stage of this process, including project definition, cost and risk estimation, schedule planning and monitoring, budget management, negotiation and conflict resolution, project leadership, and project presentation and evaluation. Using real-world case studies, Northeastern University in Toronto’s project management program introduces techniques and tools for managing both long- and short-term projects effectively and cost efficiently. The program’s core project management courses are complemented by concentrations that offer content-specific expertise, allowing students to deepen their knowledge in their chosen areas of interest. Students have the option to engage in experiential learning and participate in the co-op education program. The curriculum can be tailored to align with their previous professional experience in project management. In addition, program concentrations enable learners to focus on content-specific areas of knowledge. The program is also offered as a STEM-designated graduate degree.
