Overview
Data journalism is changing the way news is reported. More industries now need professionals who can work with data and support data-driven journalism. A 2017 Google News Lab survey found that 51 per cent of media companies in the US and Europe have data journalists on staff.
UEL's MA Data Journalism programme gives students the skills to stand out in this growing field. Whether someone is a journalist looking to upskill or a data professional interested in storytelling, this data journalism postgraduate course provides the perfect blend of technical and journalistic expertise.
• Gain hands-on experience in data gathering, analysis, and storytelling. • Understand how technology and big data shape modern journalism. • Learn to apply data skills to real-world reporting.
