What you will study

The International Foundation Programme – Business enables students to understand a range of areas. They will develop their knowledge in business, economics, statistics and data analysis which opens up a variety of career opportunities. The International Foundation Programme (IFP) is a level 3 foundation year that is an equivalent qualification to A levels. During students' programme they will develop subject-specific knowledge with a strong focus on improving their academic English language skills in preparation for studying at university. Kent Business School is a supportive community, where students will work closely with their academic adviser and other academic staff. They are experts in all areas of business who will expose them to the right mix of detailed theory and hands-on experience. Students will gain important leadership skills across a variety of business areas and learn how businesses operate. Topics covered include management principles, marketing, accounting and the international business environment. As they progress, they will be introduced to the advanced concepts of many business and management disciplines with the flexibility to tailor their course to suit their interests.
