Overview
Joint programs allow students to study law alongside another named academic discipline. Over four years of study students will take a range of courses from both the Law School and the School with which their program is combined. Studying a joint degree at Edinburgh provides them with wide-ranging academic foundations and a broader qualification to apply for postgraduate study or employment. There are important connections between business and the law, in particular in property rights and contracting, and business practices.
