Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Games Design and Development
Teesside University - London
What you will study
The BSc (Hons) Games Development involves using game engines to implement the gameplay mechanics. There is a need in the industry for graduates with a thorough knowledge of games design but also with the ability to technically implement it. Students explore core games design alongside programming (C++ and scripting for game engines). This course includes an optional work placement year, at no extra cost.
Students study several shared group modules where they work with programmers and artists in the development of games. In the final year, students follow their own specific area of specialization through the 60-credit project module. Throughout the course students are challenged with demonstrating game development skills that are directly related to the topical needs of the job market.
