The teacher education programs at the University of Windsor are designed for individuals seeking to pursue a career in teaching. Graduates of these programs are recommended to the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) and acquire valuable skills and experience to support their success in the classroom.
The two-year consecutive Bachelor of Education program is intended for candidates who already hold an undergraduate degree. It combines on-campus coursework with classroom observation and teaching experiences, preparing students to qualify to teach in one of two divisions: Primary/Junior (JK–Grade 6) or Intermediate/Senior (Grades 7–12).
