Master of Arts (Honours) - German and Spanish (RR24)

The University of Edinburgh

What you will study

The joint honors program offers students the opportunity to study two different European languages in their diverse cultural contexts. It provides a gateway to numerous countries and cultures in Europe and Latin America, as German and Spanish are among the most widely spoken and professionally useful world languages.

Students will have the chance to develop advanced spoken and written skills in both German and Spanish through intensive language study, including a year abroad. In addition to language classes, the program also explores various aspects of German-language and Spanish-language cultures from the Middle Ages to the 21st Century. This includes studying literature, cinema, history, politics, and languages in themed and comparative contexts.
