Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation (B103)

On this dynamic sports therapy course, students will dive into both the theory and hands-on practice of essential topics like anatomy, biomechanics, and muscle function. Whether they're studying the essential key competencies within sport therapy or applying their skills in real-life settings, this degree gives them the perfect balance of knowledge and experience. They'll have access to industry-standard facilities in the state-of-the-art Verena Holmes building, where they'll learn in a way that mirrors the real world.

What’s more, students will have the chance to get involved in major sporting events like the London Marathon, Canterbury and Whitstable Runs, and the Brighton Marathon. These events give them invaluable experience, helping them develop their skills in real-world settings. Plus, they'll have the opportunity to collaborate with charities like Pilgrim’s Hospice, putting their knowledge into practice whilst making a difference.

Beyond event work, students will also gain hands-on experience through the on-site teaching clinic and multiple placements during their second and third years. These placements will help them build the confidence and expertise needed to thrive in the sport rehabilitation field.
