Overview

Cultural Industries and Entrepreneurship brings together the latest industry research of the Department of Cultural, Media and Visual Studies with the entrepreneurial knowledge of the Nottingham University Business School.

Students will receive a thorough grounding in how the cultural industries are structured, organized and operate, as well as an understanding of the policy framework and unique professional roles within the industry.

They will also study entrepreneurial creativity, new venture launching, and entrepreneurial growth.

This unique combination will help students appreciate the relationship between fundamental research and practical application.

Upon completion of the course, students will be fluent in financial, marketing, and managerial aspects of the cultural industries, and will be prepared to make a significant contribution to the cultural and creative sector of the economy.
