Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Acting for Stage and Screen (W496)

The BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen at the University of West London enables students to become imaginative, well-rounded actors through an innovative course that combines creative practice, industry engagement and critical thinking to help them develop a distinct artistic vision and skillset for entry into the performing arts and related industries.

On this acting course, students learn screen acting from day one as the course balances the disciplines of stage and screen. The course integrates technology with performance through filmmaking, audio acting and even an introduction to motion capture work, equipping students with the skills and knowledge to join the industry in the twenty-first century.

Taught through practice, students will explore twenty-first-century acting techniques and a wide range of creative and critical approaches that will prepare them to become multi-skilled, initiative-taking professional actors.

Flexibility is built into the course to enable students to personalise their artistic development and become the creative practitioners they wish to be.
