As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you'll use advanced ultrasound technology to create detailed images of the human body to help with diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions. Upon successful completion of this program, you will be prepared to write the Sonography Canada credentialing exam. The DMS program equips you with the knowledge and skills to use ultrasound technology to create detailed images of the human body, interpret them accurately, and provide compassionate patient care. This comprehensive program teaches sonographic physics, ultrasound instrumentation, image acquisition and interpretation, and how to provide compassionate, ethical patient-centred care. Upon graduation, you'll be ready to take the Sonography Canada credentialing exam to be able to work in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, and private practices as a Canadian Registered Generalist Sonographer (CRGS®)
